Section 16.6 · Binding doctrine principle DP6
Technical Excellence as Ranking Signal
Web infrastructure satisfies the technical excellence signals that search engines and AI crawlers use including Core Web Vitals, accessibility, mobile optimization, and security; technical excellence is a ranking factor in itself and a prerequisite for the content excellence that ranking depends on.

Why this principle exists
DP6 is one of the eleven binding doctrine principles governing the §16.6 Discoverability Operating System. Each principle is enforced as a continuous engineering function rather than a discrete campaign — the platform’s discoverability authority compounds over sustained operation and erodes during inter-cycle gaps. The compound presence thesis means a gap on any single principle produces multiplicative drag across every presence vector the principle supports.
